R. and I finally decided to plan our attack on the out-of-control pea patch. The good news is, we are going to have a lot of peas. The bad news is, the peas grew wildly this year in their new location, the trellises did not support them, and the plants grew into one another. In other words, there are no rows.

There are rows now, and I have a sunburn. Here is our first picking of peas (21 lbs in the shell).
Off to grab a cold drink, pop in a movie, and start shelling with R.!
Update: That worked out to a little over 10 lbs of shelled peas.
